Dr. Worawat Chaiyosburan stated, “As a manufacturer and distributor of building paints, wood care products, as well as chemical and industrial products, we are committed to studying and developing production processes that can effectively reduce electricity consumption. We have implemented an inline automatic vacuum production system, referred to as AVID (Automatic Vacuum Inline Dispersion), making ‘Bayer’ the only paint manufacturer in Thailand and the first in Southeast Asia to adopt this innovative production technology. This has led to a more efficient production process, ensuring that users can trust we deliver quality products for maximum utility. Additionally, AVID can reduce electricity consumption by up to 85.39% annually, alongside utilizing renewable energy from solar power or solar cells. Not only does this provide clean energy, but it also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere by up to 335 tons of carbon dioxide per year, contributing to the mitigation of global warming. The Thailand Energy Award 2021 is a prestigious award and represents another significant step for Bayer in continuing to develop environmentally friendly innovations that benefit the planet, as well as the surrounding communities and society.”
