Bangkok, July 29, 2025– Beger Paints Co., Ltd., a leader in environmentally friendly paint innovation in Thailand, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kiatnakin Bank to participate in the “Green Loan” project at the Kiatnakin Bank headquarters, Asoke Building, withDr. Jarurat Chaiyosburananthe executive of Beger Paints Group representing the company at the ceremony.
The first Thai paint brand selected as “Green Material”
In this collaboration, Beger has the honor of beingthe first and only paint and construction chemical manufacturer in Thailandto be selected as green material for use in the bank’s Green Loan project, aiming to support the construction and renovation of buildings focused on environmental conservation, energy reduction, and carbon footprint reduction. Beger’s paint products are certified under the international “Green Label” standard, featuring environmentally friendly properties andHeat Reflectivetechnology that can effectively reflect heat and help reduce indoor temperatures. Additionally, the selection process for green construction materials by Kiatnakin Bank is conducted rigorously according to international standards, in which Beger was able to reach the final round (Finalist) and was ranked as the number 1 brand in the paint and construction chemical product category, reflecting the quality and confidence from the financial sector in the Beger brand.
Driving the Thai real estate sector towards the “Net Zero” goal
The Green Loan project is considered another important mechanism to drive the Thai real estate sector towards international environmental standards. Project developers and building owners will have access to special interest loans if they choose to use construction materials that meet the green material certification criteria, including products from Beger.
The collaboration between Beger and Kiatnakin Bank is expected to support
- reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the construction process and building usage,
- increasing energy efficiency of buildings,
- cooling buildings down, reducing air conditioning use,
- and promoting the transition to sustainable “green buildings.”
