Bayer certifies EPD and green labels, the first group in Thailand, reinforcing its leadership in green buildings at the TEI Ecolabelling Forum 2025.

Bayer Company Limited reinforces its vision of sustainability at the national level by receiving the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and Green Label for its paint products, becoming one of the first companies in Thailand to officially receive such certifications at the TEI Ecolabelling Forum 2025: Ecolabel for the Future, organized by the Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) at Cape Palace Hotel and Convention, Bangkok.

At the event, Dr. Jarurat Chaiyosburan, Executive Vice President of Bayer Paint Group, accepted the certification on behalf of the company, marking another significant step that reinforces Bayer’s leadership role in environmentally friendly building paint innovation and drives the Thai paint industry towards international standards.

A significant step for the Thai paint industry towards sustainability

The receipt of the EPD and Green Label reflects Bayer’s commitment to developing paint products that not only excel in quality and performance but also prioritize environmental impact at every stage of the product life cycle.

Both standards serve as important tools for enhancing transparency in product information, allowing consumers, project developers, and business partners to confidently trust in the sustainability attributes of Bayer products. This sets a new standard for the Thai paint industry in terms of safety, health, and environmental preservation.

Statements from Bayer’s leadership

Dr. Jarurat commented on this achievement, saying,

“Receiving the first Green Label and EPD is another significant step for Bayer in driving the Thai paint industry towards sustainable growth. We are not just developing paints; we are creating a green future for every building, every project, and everyone who uses our products.”

This statement reflects Bayer’s role in advancing new standards for the paint industry through the development of products that genuinely promote the environment and the quality of life for users.

A symbol of Thailand’s green building leadership

The dual certifications at the TEI Ecolabelling Forum 2025 not only reaffirm the quality of Bayer products but also serve as an important symbol reflecting the company’s leadership in pushing the Thai industry towards sustainability. Bayer remains committed to developing environmentally responsible paint innovations while supporting the Thai building and construction sector in achieving international green building standards to help create a sustainable future for Thai society.
