With awareness as a Thai company, Bayer Group has continuously implemented policies to navigate this crisis over the past three months, whether it be internal operational policies to reduce and control the spread of infection in the workplace, donations of financial support and equipment for medical personnel, as well as ensuring safety for customers by strictly adhering to the Ministry of Public Health’s regulations.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRegarding construction and real estate businesses, which are considered our main partners, this sector is known to be facing significant problems and impacts from the situation due to severe outbreaks among construction workers, resulting in work stoppages. Overall plans of these operators incur expenses to care for employees and workers to get through this crisis together. Therefore, we wish to contribute to help reduce the cost of employee care while work is halted and to boost morale among these workers, showing that Thais do not abandon one another by providing dry food and essential items to real estate operators for distribution in construction worker camps throughout Bangkok and its vicinity. This also reduces the need to go out to buy food and consumer goods, which poses a risk of spreading the virus among this group. Additionally, Bayer has donated financial support for public health initiatives, such as donating funds for expenses to Ramathibodi Hospital, Police Hospital, and medical equipment to Bang Sue vaccination center, while continuously supporting medical personnel in other areas.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cInternally, the company has accelerated vaccination for employees at the beginning of last month to enhance herd immunity and reduce the burden on the country. This includes employees working in manufacturing areas who must prioritize hygiene in the workplace, maintain social distancing, and extend to sales and marketing staff to help instill confidence and reassurance for both the personnel themselves and customers, as well as the company\u2019s partners.
