History and Background
1961
In 1961, it was established under the name Tawirung Limited Partnership, a distributor of paints and construction equipment, by Mr. Prasert Chaiyosburan.
1963
In 1963, Taveerung Limited Partnership was the first and only company in Thailand to collaborate with Bayer Germany (the world leader in wood coating technology) to bring Unithane hard coating oil, a wood preservation product, to the market under the trademark "Beger Unithane B-52," which was then referred to as "rocket brand oil" or "B-52 airplane brand oil."
2000
In 2000, developed paint and wood preservation for use in exterior and interior work, focusing on penetration and showcasing the wood grain on both walls and floors.
2006
In 2006, established a plant to produce Super Resin in-house.
2007
In 2007, the focus was on producing BegerCool, the flagship innovative paint of Bayer, which excelled in both sales and national awards.
2012
In 2012, we expanded our innovation in interior paint that helps purify the air, enhancing good hygiene for families: BegerShield AirFresh / BegerShield AirClean / BegerShield PhotoClean
2016
In 2016, advanced to the next level with the innovative color Beger One, a ready-to-use primer paint, the first and only finished paint in Thailand.
2020
In 2020, BegerShield AirFresh Anti-Virus Gold Ion was developed as the first and only innovative color in Thailand that uses Gold Ion technology, pure gold particles, to inhibit the coronavirus*, and received the Product of the Year award from Business Plus magazine.
2021
In 2021, received an outstanding award in creative energy, energy conservation, and renewable energy development from the Thailand Energy Award 2021.
Launched a new product, BegerShield GripTech 2 In 1, a versatile steel paint, the first glossy oil-based paint that can be applied to all types of surfaces and comes with a built-in rust-proof primer.
2022
In 2022, reinforcing its position as a leader in wood finishing innovation, Beger launched the Beger Polyurethane 1K Supreme Outdoor, the first and only outdoor wood polyurethane in Thailand that is resistant to sun and rain, suitable for exterior applications.
2023
In 2023, love the earth even more with the carbon reduction label (gold label) in the BegerCool building paint product line, the first and only in Thailand.
Continuing to develop products for the health of mothers, children, the elderly, and pets, BegerShield AirFresh Anti-Virus Gold Ion has received the award for "Best Interior Paint" from The Asian Parent Awards 2023.
Won the Product of the Year 2023 award from Business Plus magazine, guaranteeing the BegerShield Griptech 2in1 steel paint, offering great value in one can, with premium quality and environmentally friendly.
2024
In 2024, the "Paint CO2Cal" application will be launched to calculate carbon footprint emissions from the use of more than 1,200 shades of paint from BEYER, the first in the Thai architectural paint industry.
