Beger received the high-efficiency energy-saving label award from the Ministry of Energy for the 4th consecutive year, aiming to become a leading company in manufacturing building paints that focus on special properties, caring for and being mindful of the environment, and preparing a budget for developing eco-friendly products throughout 2020.

We have received the energy-saving label award for the 4th consecutive year for Beger paint products, which have special properties such as Beger Cool, an energy-saving paint that reflects and blocks heat, and Beger Shield Air Clean, which has special air-purifying properties and is certified by the CDPH of the California Department of Public Health, the state agency responsible for public health and safety in America, confirming that Beger Shield Air Fresh has a low release rate of harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) according to the LEED V.4 building standard.”
“The project to promote high-efficiency machinery and equipment and materials for energy conservation through labeling,” organized by Mahidol University and the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy (DEDE), aims to promote a total of 19 products, with Beger receiving an award in the category of building paint products. The qualifications were assessed based on the high-performance criteria, as Beger paint is not only a building paint that protects and beautifies walls but also has various additional properties to help save energy and reduce global warming issues.
“Beger prioritizes innovation in production, making us produce Beger Cool, a flagship product of the company. Additionally, Beger has been a market leader in researching, developing, and producing Beger Cool, which was launched 10 years ago. We considered the properties of Beger Cool because Thailand is located in a tropical region, making heat reflection and blocking properties essential. At that time, 90% of people in Thailand were not familiar with heat-reflective paint, but once Beger Cool entered the market, the response regarding energy-saving properties, heat reflection, UV blocking, and helping save electricity costs by about 30% became a top demand when thinking of building paints,” Dr. Jarurat Chaiyosburan added.
“Receiving this energy-saving label award can be seen as a mark of guarantee for energy-saving properties and efficiency, helping reduce household electricity consumption. It also contributes to encouraging many operators to adjust their working and production strategies, leading to an increase in energy-saving products for consumers and supporting the public in reducing spending and living costs in line with government policies.”
