Bayer Co., Ltd. is committed to enhancing safety while providing COVID-19 vaccination benefits to all employees, including those in production, support, and sales. The company has allocated Sinopharm vaccines to create herd immunity among employees, ensuring peace of mind for customers nationwide.
Dr. Worawat Chaiyosburan, CEO of Bayer Group, stated, “Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the company is concerned about and cares for the safety and well-being of all employees, especially in the sales department, which has to meet with customers and partner stores more than other departments. Bayer has coordinated the number of vaccine quotas and has expedited vaccinations for over 99% of employees. The company also strictly maintains other safety measures in accordance with the Ministry of Public Health’s guidelines, such as regularly disinfecting the office and production areas, as well as cleaning the inside and outside of delivery vehicles before reaching customers. Additionally, we uphold social distancing policies by primarily planning work through online meetings.
Temperature checks are conducted before work, and a facial recognition time recording system is used to reduce contact. Employees are required to wear masks at all times while working and maintain personal hygiene by washing hands with soap and using hand sanitizer. Furthermore, some employees are allowed to work from home to reduce close contact in the office, and access for outsiders is limited. This is to ensure that all employees feel safe and can work efficiently amid this pandemic.”
In addition to caring for the safety and well-being of personnel within the organization, Bayer also extends its concern to society by donating money and essential items to support vaccination efforts for the public at various hospitals, such as Ramathibodi Hospital, Police Hospital, and Bang Sue Central Vaccination Center, to urgently create herd immunity.
